Job Description For IBM Careers 2022
As a Microprocessor Core Functional verification engineer, you are expected to
understand the processor core design specifications, instruction set architecture and logic design implementation
Develop the verification environment and test bench
Develop skills in IBM Functional verification tools and apply them successfully
Work with design as well as other key stakeholders in resolving/debugging logic design issues and deliver a quality design
Skills Required For IBM Careers 2022
0 to 5 years of experience in Functional Verification – demonstrated execution experience of verification of logic blocks
Knowledge of functional verification methodology – UVM/OVM
Knowledge of HDLs (Verilog, VHDL, SV)
Good programming skills in C/C++, Python/Perl
Exposure in developing testbench environment, write complex test scenrio, debugging and triaging fails
Good communication skills and be able to work effectively in a global team environment
Drive verification coverage closure
Lead unit level verification team
Drive complex scenarios, participate in high level design discussions
Preferred Technical and Professional Experience
Writing test plans, building random / exhaustive verification environment, functional and code coverage analysis and debug.
Processor architecture domain knowledge will help
Experience in developing analysis and data visualization tools from large set of regression results
