QAD is seeking an Associate Software Engineer. This position under moderately close supervision performs professional software engineering functions. Non-complex design and programming functions are performed independently. Prepares technical documentation and performs unit and integration testing. Provides support to other teams or customers when needed. This position will focus on automating and streamlining current manual processes. In addition, this position can help improve our Process Map application and WalkMe implementation.
What you’ll do:
Perform analysis to create designs for enhancements and modifications including affected programs, expected behaviour, related document changes and test scenarios
Perform maintenance and enhancement of new and/or existing software systems or product modules.
Prepare program documentation of product components.
Provide support to Services/Support/other R&D teams; solve customer issues as needed.
Establish technical proficiency in design, implementation, and unit testing.
Skills Required For QAD Recruitment 2022
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or business information systems
1-2 years of related experience. Understanding of and experience with the software development lifecycle.
Good PC skills with working knowledge of QAD supported technologies, platforms, and languages. Java, XML, JSP development skills and experience.
Knowledge of software development methodologies, design, and implementation. Experience with database applications, client-server applications, or web-based applications
Good analytical and design skills. Good problem solving, communication, and organization skills. Attention to detail.
Understanding of development process, including specification, documentation, and quality assurance.
